Oct 17 – Dec 18 | Dschungel Wien (AT)

Performance

The opening of the exhibition in Vienna at ArtSocialSpace Brunnenpassage will “come alive” by a cooperation between Brunnenpassage and Dschungel Wien, a theatre house for children and young people. Choreographer Sanja Troop-Frühwald creates a theatrical & dance performance with children inspired by the topic of the exhibition and taking place within the exhibition rooms. During intense workshops children of diverse backgrounds will work on the topic of sleeping and dreaming, especially under circumstances like an escape. Sleeping and dreaming and having nightmares is a common issue with children growing up. As part of the process Dschungel Wien wants the children to design their own cushion that gives them the feeling of safety and protection and will be a part of the set design of the performance.
